Subject: BS: Paris Hilton Mother Teresa From: GUEST,MarkS Date: 05 Apr 06 - 12:25 AM Just across the wire from Yahoo - an Indian filmmaker is trying to persuade Paris Hilton to take the role of Mother Teresa in a proposed new film. Seems a computer search found many similar points of reference in their facial features. Got me thinking - There ought to be lots of unlikely casting decsions worthy of a laugh. Any other suggestions? |

Subject: RE: BS: Paris Hilton Mother Teresa From: GUEST Date: 05 Apr 06 - 10:27 AM I think the name Paris Hilton featured on 24 jan 04 on this thread about the world's shortest books. http://www.mudcat.org/thread.cfm?threadid=66292&messages=75 |
Subject: RE: BS: Paris Hilton Mother Teresa From: Bee-dubya-ell Date: 05 Apr 06 - 10:33 AM The facial features may be a close match, but Paris Hilton's way taller than Mother Teresa. And, from what I understand, she gives better blowjobs. |
Subject: RE: BS: Paris Hilton Mother Teresa From: GUEST,leeneia Date: 05 Apr 06 - 10:35 AM I've heard of Paris Hilton. But if you asked me, does she sing, act, or is she a model?, I wouldn't know. She's just a name in the news. Trouble is, by the time Paris Hilton was famous enough to get in the news, journalists assumed that everybody already knew what she does. Foolish, but very common. If I got an airplane seat next to her, I would have no idea who she was. |

Subject: RE: BS: Paris Hilton Mother Teresa From: Ebbie Date: 05 Apr 06 - 11:20 AM Better not take an airplane seat next to her, leenia! Human beings are amazing. I think that sometimes they/we get seriously confused about the vast difference between fame and notoriety. Once I was watching "The View" a morning show started by Barbara Walters; it is very popular and draws a large in-house audience. This day Paris Hilton was a guest. I was stunned; when she walked in, the audience gave her a standing ovation. For what? |
Subject: RE: BS: Paris Hilton Mother Teresa From: Purple Foxx Date: 05 Apr 06 - 11:21 AM Perhaps she was conceived there? Brooklyn Beckham (son of David & Victoria) was allegedly named for his place of conception. The poor little mite can at least be grateful that he wasn't begotten in Peckham. |
Subject: RE: BS: Paris Hilton Mother Teresa From: GUEST,TIA Date: 05 Apr 06 - 11:29 AM Back to the original question... How about John Goodman as Mahatma Gandhi? Or Ahhnold the Governator in the same role? |
Subject: RE: BS: Paris Hilton Mother Teresa From: Ebbie Date: 05 Apr 06 - 11:41 AM lol An image just popped into my head of an entire movie made of incongruous casting. Could be a big hit. |
Subject: RE: BS: Paris Hilton Mother Teresa From: Purple Foxx Date: 05 Apr 06 - 11:50 AM I would suggest Jennifer Love Hewitt as Audrey Hepburn but that really happened. |
Subject: RE: BS: Paris Hilton Mother Teresa From: Bill D Date: 05 Apr 06 - 01:57 PM Paris is an heir to the Hilton hotel fortune! She is the daughter of THE Hiltons....Paris??? Maybe Las Vegas didn't sounf right. |
Subject: RE: BS: Paris Hilton Mother Teresa From: Bee-dubya-ell Date: 05 Apr 06 - 02:07 PM Don't worry, leeneia, the chances of you ever getting an airplane seat next to Paris Hilton are extremely slim since she's probably never been on a commercial airline flight (other than, possibly, the Concorde, which is no longer in service). Corporate Gulfstreams at one's beck and call and all that, you understand... Anybody remember the words to "Poor Little Rich Girl"? |

Subject: RE: BS: Paris Hilton Mother Teresa From: Don Firth Date: 05 Apr 06 - 02:43 PM Another one of these no-talent people who's famous for being famous. Offspring of the Hilton hotel family. Born with far too much money (her dog is dressed better than all of the Gabor sisters put together—by the way, are they still around?), and paté de fois gras where most people have a brain. Either that, or she's crazy like a fox, but I doubt it. Mother Theresa? Now there's a piece of casting! Here ya go: The Life of Albert Einstein, starring SpongeBob SquarePants. The Life of Arnold Schwarzenegger, starring Elmer Fudd. Ah HA! Now I've got the rhythm! The Life of SpongeBob SquarePants, starring George W. Bush! Don Firth |

Subject: RE: BS: Paris Hilton Mother Teresa From: Don Firth Date: 05 Apr 06 - 08:21 PM And another brilliant piece of casting for the SpongeBob SquarePants movie: "Mr. Krabs is SpongeBob's boss and the owner of The Krusty Krab. Making money is what it's all about for Mr. Krabs, and he can usually be found in his office counting his cash and adding up the day's receipts. Although SpongeBob gets on his nerves, Mr. Krabs likes that he's willing to work long hours for little pay." Who could be more suited to the role of Mr. Krabs than [drum roll] Dick Cheney? Don Firth |
Subject: RE: BS: Paris Hilton Mother Teresa From: Mooh Date: 06 Apr 06 - 09:34 AM Or Paris Hilton as Lassie, (I've never seen her video, does she do it...never mind). Finally, a reason for her being, to amuse us. Peace, Mooh. |
