Subject: RE: New Auction Item from Kendall From: catspaw49 Date: 15 Apr 06 - 12:14 AM Holy shit!!!! When did Kendall learn to write? I mean it IS a well known fact around here that before jacqui came along, the gawdam Llahma made all of Kendall's posts and was the reason they made no sense at all. Of course you can't completely blame the Llahma as he really didn't have good material with Kendall as the source. Say Kendall, why not give the poster to the Bok guy and he can copy it and give it away with each and every fan he sells? I hear the Bok Fans aren't moving too well and maybe this would help. Its hard to overcome a bad reputation and the Bok "turning toward morning" switches were shocking the shit out of everyone. That bad publicity also caused a dropoff in sales of the Gordon Bok model of my famous Amish-Australian Pitchfork Moustache Tuner which I am still pissed off about!!! Spaw |

Subject: RE: New Auction Item from Kendall From: Ebbie Date: 15 Apr 06 - 12:55 PM I've trued and tried to tell him, Giok. Amish men do NOT grow mustaches- they may be genetically unable, for all I know. But did Spaw listen? |

Subject: RE: New Auction Item from Kendall From: catspaw49 Date: 15 Apr 06 - 03:12 PM Y'all need to get this straight.........See, I'm in marketing and I can tell you that the average WASP has no idea whether Amish OR Aussies have moustaches.......and it don't matter. THe real thing is that the average WASP will buy anything that they think is better than someone elses and right now the hot stuff is either Australian or Amish so I figured that if I added them both to the product name I could really skyrocket the sales. I could have done wonders for the Gordon Bok Fans but now since the things have been shocking everyone he can go it alone. I had a feeling about that "turn toward morning switch but nobody wanted to listen to me. If he had kept the price down he could have a given them away with his songbooks as I suggested and then maybe there wouldn't be any leftover copies. Word on the street has it that there are 99,979 in a warehouse after the dismal sales on the first printing. A fan would have gone a long way with a lot of folks. Spaw |

Spaw A severe turn to the side: I know of an Amish family in Ohio (your neighborhood, Spaw?) who put a box of kittens alongside the road with a sign saying "Free Kittens". They got no takers, so the next day they changed the sign to "Amish Kittens, Free!" All of the kittens were gone in a day. (Or so the story goes...) |
