Consider this: Royal Phillips Electronics has filed a patent with the US Patent Office for a gadget that can be used by television stations to prevent you from changing channels during a commercial. If it can be used during commercials it can be used to prevent you from changing channels at all. Of course, it would only work on those of us who actually watch television.... |
