why would you want to talk about a film that you obviously have not seen?
Why would you start a thread about something that obviously doesn't interest you? If I would start threads about all things that do not interest me that would be a lot of threads.

Two advices: If you do not understand the content of a post in a thread that you read do not assume that the post is irrelevant to the thread. Do not start new threads for all posts that you do not understand, just ask in the thread in which such a post appears.

Or perhaps you would request or expect the current title of that thread to be subject to imposed change by some anonymous fellow poster so that it did reflect your request?

I did not want to talk about this film at all - but I assumed from your post that you did. I thought you would be pleased that I started a thread for this purpose? I am very sorry......

I never saw it, but it starred a young woman named Sydne Rome, with whom I had gone to Carnegie Tech (now Carnegie-Mellon).

As I remember from glancing through the novelization at the time, it turns out in the end that the film called WHAT? is about a film called WHAT? Very meta...

Sydne must have become resident in Europe, because she also played Louise Bryant in an Italian film about her and John Reed (played by Franco Nero) that came out around the same time as REDS, which starred Diane Keaton and Warren Beatty.
