I was forced to wear the damned thing is great big thing made of foam and is about three hudred degrees C inside it.
How do you know about it?
Next thing you know will be high heels and a flowery skirt.
I make no predictions re attendnce on friday as the las several times have been disasterous and now my shift pattern has altered for a short while so that I am at work 0001 saturday for the next few months.
However this does mean that I could make it to the Gainsbro Folk club occasionaly where no doubt I will be regailled with information re tuning guitars and how to get the best wear out of Bodrhan skins and mandolin strings.
However I am sure it will be a superb evening at Faldingworth on friday.
I hear Rockhen is going to supply the beer mats for the occasion.
and isnt there a Saturday concert coming up soon?

Yes, there is an excellent evening on Saturday June 10th at Faldingworth Village Hall. Anthony John Clarke will be in Concert. Not to be missed. Great singaround afterwards. All for the measerly price of £5.

Well that seems to have blown your floorspot at MRFC to smithereens then. Make that tight fisted company get somebody else to do it. You know your path to singing fame is more important :-)

If I was comeing dressed as a scarecrow I guess I would Look like I was an effigy of some sort designed for the purpose
of protecting a crop from the ravages of a flock of feeding birds.
This would be because thats what scarecrows are and I wanted to pass your entrance exam.
Though would have thought it better to just pay as we usualy do.
Thus allowing easy access and raising money to allow the club to continue into the future
Have you thought how long it will take you or someone else to check on the answers to your questions at the door?
Or would it be allowable to write out the answers on a postcard
and hand that in?
Then you could go around throwing out the ones who got it wrong at half time.
Have you given any thought to maybe having multiple choice entry exams?

Hey don't make it difficult for people to get in...we want a big audience so we can pretend we are popular and the punters are there solely to hear Helian Keys, not anyone else...what do you mean they are coming to see the other acts ...eh? oh...and our spot is a fag and toilet break? .....that isn't very nice of you all!!! hey Villan...am I allowed to mention that we have a cd single (3 tracks) of a brand new Helian Keys song, for sale at the very reasonable price of £1.50 and we will be bringing 300 with us on Friday???

Just back from seing Miranda Sykes & Jenny Crooks at Cottingham Live. It was very enjoyable. Two excellent voices. Both could play guitar, and Jenny played scintilating harp and Miranda played scintillating Double Bass. Met up with Linda & Hazel (Hissyfit).

The car parks will be available as normal on Friday night.

When the scarecrow exhibition is on, sometimes the village hall car park is not available. However Friday is OK, but on Saturday evening for the Ceilidh, the village hall car park is not available, but the car parks by the school are still available.

I haven't seen the poozies, but wouldn't mind seing them.

Many thanks to those who turned out last night to see once again an excellent and varied night of music.

We all got to see Mrs Sooz's new baby, Malcolm the Scarecrow Morris Dancer. What a great job Mrs Sooz did.

And so the session at Faldingworth today (Saturday) at Brownlows Antiques from 2 to 5.
Then the Ceilidh tonight (Saturday) at Faldingworth Village Hall with Higgledy Piggledy.
