Subject: RE: It's a happy day From: Divis Sweeney Date: 06 Jul 06 - 07:02 PM As long as you are able to type here that's the important part, it could so easily of been a sad ending. Now put your headphones on. |

Subject: RE: It's a happy day From: Matt_R Date: 07 Jul 06 - 09:21 PM Hahah nope, no getting hit by a train when picking up momma. I was on my way back from visiting the girlfriend in Knoxville when I hydroplaned and spun out into the crash barrier on I-40 East near Hillsborough, N.C. after 1 a.m.. Spent over an hour standing in the median with my guitar and my girlfriend's blue blanket over my head in the biggest downpour in history waiting for the State Trooper and the wrecker to come, and spent 3 hours in a truck stop dripping a puddle of water until my dad could come get me. It happened right in the middle of NWA's "Straight Outta Compton" too. All I could think of was: And I was standin' on the side of the road Rain fallin' on my shoes Heading out for the East Coast Lord knows I've paid some dues gettin' through, Tangled up in blue. But at least I got my Steve fix now. |

Subject: RE: It's a happy day From: Amos Date: 07 Jul 06 - 11:09 PM "Vaguely responsible" sounds about right, Spaw -- kinda defines the probable character of the Spaw we have come to think we know and hope we love! :D A |
Subject: RE: It's a happy day From: Matt_R Date: 08 Jul 06 - 02:13 AM When I was at the truck stop, I felt I should have taken out my guitar and played an impromptu blues song about it. |
