Our beautiful mate Warpy is enjoying her first birthday today, after we 'ducted her into 'life begins' with last year's ceilidh. And the poor love is spending her birthday night hard at work in her nurse's uniform on Anlaby Road in Hull9 for what she admits is good pay. I have just had a delightful conversation with the dear wee girl on the electric telephone, when I had to admit I'd forgotten the date, so here's my reparation.

Well Maggie and I were able to wish her 'Happy Birthday' in person yesterday in Hessle. It seems that's somebody has built a really big bridge there!
