I sort of figured this was coming, but I hoped it would not be so soon. I start dialysis on Monday, along with a blood transfusion for my anemia. I assume I'll feel better when I get out and it's all for the best, but I'm still nervous. Any good thoughts sent my way will be greatly appreciated. My doctor says I'll be there for 3 days, and going b;y past experiences, that means 5 days. I'll miss you guys.

Lots of good thoughts and thanks givings coming your way, Steve. It's not so bad getting the blood replaced. Don't know about the dialysis, but I am giving thanks you feel 100% better and it goes the best as possible for your highest good. Please keep us posted as you are able and have energy for.

You will be fine Steve, "They" can do anything nowadays.
As one who felt pretty nervous too, prior to several hospital sojourns over the last few years, I KNOW that IT IS FOR YOUR GOOD!
You will come out in a few days more and wonder what it was that had you in a tizzy!

My wife is heading the same way. Her consultant reckons sometime in 2008 as long as she does not deteriorate any faster than she currently is.

We are hoping she stays fit enough that we can make a planned visit to the USA next spring.

I don't envy you but thank God we have things like dialysis. Just remember that the down you may experience is induced by the treatment and you'll be back on the plus side of things shortly. Good luck!

HeyaSteve! I just found a tape of you. It was buried in a buffet in a closet where it was stored almost three years ago when our daughter and grandson came to live with us. They've moved out and I am discovering all kinds of treasures, including your tape. I think it was from a HearMe session or Mudcat radio? Anyway, GREAT MUSIC!! Thanks!

It's Sunday night. I'm checking in for onw last time before I go to bed. At 7:30 int he morning I'm going into the hospital. Thanks for all the good thoughts. I'm feeling a lot better, and they bought a tear to my eyes.

Kat, I don't know that I was ever on Mudcat radio. If it was indeed me you heard, thanks for the good words.

I'm supposed to be in for 3 days, which, like I said, usually trnnslates into 5. I'll let you all know how it went when I get back.
