This committee was in a quandary as to where to place the statue, says the letter. It was not wise to place it beside the statue of George Washington, who never told a lie, nor beside Lyndon Johnson, who never told the truth, since Bill Clinton could never tell the difference.

Frankly, I think it fits the Republicans better:

Bush started a war not knowing where it was going, doesn't know geography so he does not know where he is, has not been able to return because he doesn't know where he has been and is doing it all on money he is borrowing from our children and their children yet unborn.

Since the Dems started in 1792, and Hanson was President in 1781 ( and died in 1783) I doubt if he can be called a Democrat.
