I would just like to say thank you to all the UK Catters that gave Kendall and myself such a welcome this year, firstly when we both came over in May/June and then when I came over in August.

It was so good to reconnect with old friends and to meet some new ones. It just about blew me away that, on very short notice in some cases, I could contact someone and arrange to get together that day or the following day. The hospitality that we/I recieved was almost overwhelming. You all know who you are and I think you are wonderful.

I got to some good sessions this last trip and heard some very good music. There are so many talented singers and musicians out there and it is a real pleasure to get to listen to them.

My main reason for the UK trips is to visit my family but you lot are really the icing on the cake.

The pleasure was all mine... not many people can say they've had a Cap'n in their house.

The house is always open to such lovely people as you two.

Especially when you take that singing lobster away with you! (although, oddly enough, I miss him now.... I may have to go find another one.)

Giok - the autoharp got back safely despite the best efforts of the baggage handlers and Northwests attempt to lose one of my bags. I will take it to the Getaway and arrange for someone there to take it to Susan.
