we had severe weather overnight in N.C..
a tornado ripped through a trailer park near Wilmington,N.C.,this morning9thursday,nov.16) killing 7 people and several more may be still missing!
the area is west of Wilmington and the area is very flat country there!
even more damage near where we live here in the foothills of the mountains...
several trees down, power lines down,power outage wide spread most of the day...
our power went out around noon today, est, and we just recently had power restored here in our area...around 5:00pm est!
peg/me are ok and most of the folks in this area are ok,too!
some fatalities due to heavy rains and strong winds causing wrecks on the interstate highway here!
also a tornado and lots of damage near Charlotte ,today too!
no fatalities reported there!
not exactly the kind of weather that we normally experience here!
but again, we are all ok here in Germanton,N.C., near Winston-Salem,N.C..!

Just be very careful. They sometimes travel in packs and sometimes hang around an area for a few days.

Don't feed 'em. Stay safe.

Thanks, TH. I'm glad you're well. My Mom and younger brother live in the Charlotte area and since I didn't listen to the news today, I'm just learning about this now.
