Subject: RE: BS: For all the good folks here... From: Jerry Rasmussen Date: 01 Dec 06 - 11:05 AM Thanks Dean: You iz a prince, but not The Prince. And I don't mean The Artist Formerly Known As Prince. Gets confusing, don't it. I just printed up and cut 120 Christmas cards and am addressing them on this rainy, warm day here in Connecticut. For all those good folks who find Christmas meaningless, or disstasteful, may this be a season of presence for you. Not presents that you put under a tree, although I wish you those as well. May this be a time when we enjoy the presence of friends and family, and may we give our presence to those who are sick and shut-in, alone and without family. Nothing is more appreciated when you feel forgotten. Jerry |

Subject: RE: BS: For all the good folks here... From: Scoville Date: 01 Dec 06 - 03:30 PM Only the good ones? Do the rest of us get a clicky to a stocking-ful of coal? Just kidding. Personally, I think Christmas (any holiday, really) is only as meaningless and distasteful as you allow it to be. Celebrate it with something meaningful and tasteful and you've done your bit to solve the problem. |
