The US (or at least the grey-faced men*** running it!) don;t want any of their money-making friends to lose money over embargoes you see - so by making an embargo on nothing that they sell there, they can make an effective Symbolic Political Statement (hereinafter referred to as a 'SPS') with no collateral damage. *** You really will just HAVE to read 'The Illuminati Trilogy' books, won't you! |
