Family of atheists here, Captain. I'm not sure I've ever said "Biblical" without at least in internal giggle. That, and I've started to associate it with the megalomania of Mel Gibson, which doesn't help me take it any more seriously.

"touching" a dead animal may be inadvisable, depending on the exact circumstances. Biblical "knowledge" of a dead animal is definitely not a good idea.

Fred Phelps is an attention-whoring psychopath, and his family appears to be inbred, mindless, and completely under his sway. It's a fringe movement at most, and the only reason they get this much attention is that they go so far out of their way to court controversy. He doesn't even represent the religious right--he's just another potentially dangerous lunatic.

What does infinity look like? Like anything that's out there, because it IS everything that's out there.

To hate anyone, it would have to hate part of itself. To punish anyone it would have to punish itself.

Unlikely, unless infinity is as confused and conflicted as the average human being is.

To love anyone it would have to love itself. Which of those 3 possibilities makes any sense? Only the last one...loving. Infinity loves everyone.

I saw this bunch of nutters on telly last night, as I guess Tom did also (that right Tom?) & was really, & I mean really shocked & disgusted...I suppose 'Freedom of Speech' (1st Amendment?) is what they are able to hide behind, but isnt their any kind of legislation that works its way round it, for cases like this?

Bizarrely, they also said the London Bombings were a punishment from God, though I missed any 'logic' for that when watching.
