"Judge Davies was persuaded to pose as Mr July for a nude calendar sold at £10 a time to raise cash for the Pennine Foxhounds, of which he is joint master. "

Actually the hunt arranged the whole thing for charity, they're not profiting from it themselves (except publicity).

Could be a McCann duet.
He has an 'I know what your thinking' look about him.
She looks much happier, but surely it's the rider who should be on the mounting block, not the horse.

A good cause? The local hunt?

Highly debatable.

I refuse to answer that question Folkiedave due to my compliance with the witness protection program!!!!!

Obviously this is all in good fun! There is a great calendar photographed by Jayne Toohey that benefits the Folk Alliance as well as benefits for health coverage for folk musicians -
www.nakedfolkcalendar.com

It is a high honor to be include and .... great exposure!

My considered opinion is that she's cuter than he is.

That is only one opinion of course.

My congratulations to them both on putting it "all on the line" for the benefit of their Festival. I find it tasteful (enough) and pleasantly amusing.

John

Good for them! And in a good cause, too.
Trouble is, from Mark's expression, the bellows must have been a bit cold!

How many naked US judges have you seen Ron? :-)

And - surely the important thing is what sort of concertina is it?

Edeophone is my guess........

As for him, well he will find it a bit painful if he gets his curlys caught in his instrument:-)

I cannot believe how uptight people seem to be! That article makes it sound like they are ashamed of posing. No one is naked in the photos! They are covered!! Do people over there really make a fuss about this kind of thing?

Mark Davies and his wife Joan who run the Bradfield Traditional Music Festival held annually at their farm - have gone for a cheap publicity stunt in order to publicise this year's festival.

You can see the results of their efforts here.

This year's event - which inexplicably Mark and Joan forgot to mention - will be held on the weekend of August 10,11,12th August.
