Al Gore was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by 2 Norwegian politicians. Within 48 hours American conservatives with deep pockets realized they did not have a champion of their own nominated.

So not to be outdone they* (the American family counsel for God, Country and oxycontin) got together and nominated Rush Limbaugh.
Tucker Carlson of MSNBC is supporting Rush Limbaugh's nomination and is denigrating Al Gore's nomination.

Yes it seems anyone cam be nominated, so my wife and kids nominated me for the Nobel PEace PRize based on my animations of W's nightmare and the painting 'the kiss'.

The letter was sent today.

The bottom line is _anyone_ can be "nominated" for the Nobel Peace Prize. They can put it in their CV and it is totally true, and completely meaningless. Unless they actually win. The committee is very tight-lipped about the deliberations!
