After getting seriously pissed off with all the politics, people getting ratty and me getting too invilved I decided to pack in the cat. Over the last week I have been dipping in and things do seem to have bucked up considerably.

I am happy to admit I could well have been wrong or at least too hasty in my decision to leave so, here I am back in the fold:-)

And who, I hear you ask, is this Polshaw bloke? Well, most people I have communicated with here will already know but for those that don't - I was Dave the Gnome. The option is still available for people to get in touch with me at hotmail but the other option now is to PM me here.

Hope that the cat litter stays smelling as sweet as it has been over the last week:-)

Oh No. He's back (whats a-miss with his back). I had just got used to him turning up at Swinton Folk Club happy an elfy coz he hadn't spent an hour being mudcatted, all normal, and now he's back 'ere where people will attack him and cause 'im stress.

We attack 'im and cause 'im stress at Swinton but it's in a one on one situation or blues on blues if it's blues night 'an I firmly believe that if people tried to do one on one what they have tried to do on Mudcat there would be bits of them 'anging from threads.

He is famous for charging Martin Carthy on the door to come in to the club. Martin had spent 5 minutes explaining he was the guest artist and then just gave up the argument and paid.

He is affectionately known as the Swinton rottwieller.
