This is a well played 3-part Polka and I'd love to know if any afficionados know what it's called, and maybe who is the accordeonist playing -were any of you there? As it is heard it appears to be in C min but I taped it and slowed it down to B min which works well on my melodeon. |

I didnt know that digital cameras could change speeds. It's a shame there isnt a lot more of the same -I wonder what happens about copyrights ? |

25 Sep 07 - 05:39 PM (#2157337) Subject: RE: St. Chartier tune -for French music lovers From: Alan Day Many thanks Animaterra, I have played at this Festival (with Rosbif) and anyone interested in French Traditional Music should go if they get a chance.It is much bigger now than when I went there,I noticed a few concertinas as well, there was only mine when I attended.The combination of concertina and Hurdy Gurdy created a bit of interest at the time. What did impress me was the wonderful instruments on sale.Fantastic Hand made Melodions,Hurdy Gurdy,s and French Pipes.The dance floors were a bit crowded then, but it did not put me off.
