A lot of you will probably know that Tom had a spot of ill health recently, and actually spent a period of time in hospital while visiting the family and friends in Southampton. But I spoke to him a week or so ago, and in his own words he's doing champion, and looking forward to coming to the Welly. Tom will be accompanied by David Newey who plays guitar in Tom's band. The clubs doing well and the guest nights are always full, so please come early and enjoy another great night at the Welly. Cheers, Ken. |

Tom really enjoyed himself and said he had fully recovered from his recent spot of ill health. Judging on last nights performance he sounded better than ever. Next week at the club we have the return visit of our club swap with the 'Tynefolk' club (more bloody Geordie's) which is always a great night. There will be a new thread posted for this night. I went to the Dr yesterday afternoon and have to have a blood test on Tuesday to confirm what he thinks it is. If it is that, it is treatable, but I shall be out of circulation again for a week or two. Geoff |
