BS: kendall-watch Christmas 2010

Now that jacqui.c is firmly back in her own native land, I do hope that friends and family are keeping an eye on kendall, making sure he doesn't get up to too much mischief.

He'd better be a good boy or we might decide to keep jacqui here *grin*

Put a few webcams around his house -- no problem. Could even install web-based audio over speakers so Jacqui can say things like "Kendall! Basement!" and "At your age you should have known better!"

Hey, my friend Bob was a trained horologist!!

Oh you'd better watch out
You better not cry
You better be good
I'm telling you why:
Jacqui cams cover the town.

She sees you when you're drinking
She knows if you're awake
With geosynchronous satellites
You best be good for your own sake!

So you better stay home
And drink on the sly
You'd be crazy to roam
I'm telling you why:
Jacqui cams cover the town.

THAT fool thing?

True story:

I had a meeting in Zionsville, Indiana. I lived in South Bend, Indiana.   To go to Zionsville you go south in US 31 and turn right. Wanting to be certain of my directions, I consulted Mapquest.

I was told to go east on the Indiana Tollroad until I got to the Ohio Tollroad, and at the Detroit junction I was to turn north. Cross into Windsor, Ontario and continue east through Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. In NS I was to take some obscure country road to a seacoast town. When I got there I was proceed 3,700 miles southeast, which would put me in Zionsville. Total travel time was 21 days, not counting returning (or time afloat).

And you want me to trust that fool thing?????

Your claim of Sanctuary is granted, my son. You will spend the next thirty (3) days in the ecclesiastical outhouse. Should you step even one yoctometer* beyond it for any reason, you will have violated your claim to Sanctuary. Good luck to ya.

*Yoctometer or yoctometre (abbrv. ym): 1 ym = 1 × 10-24 meter, or about the width of an electron.

My ex wife had one of those self winding watches. It always stopped during sex.

Whereas, I assume, the mainspring on your own watch broke from over-winding when she went away for a long weekend?

Welcome To The Kendall Morse Sanctuary.

Here you can see Kendall Morse gambol and scamper about, as long as he doesn't leave the Outhouse of the Basilica of St. Fiacre*.

Silly man. I immediately reported the error to management and HR. Their response? "Anyone else would have kept their mouth shut." That was the reaction I got when I reported the vacation day error.

Sooner or later they would have caught it - I think...I hope.

Not worth worrying about getting caught. I'd rather get it fixed ASAP.
