Martin Carthy playing in Whitby, with great overlay of surrounding Yorkshire coastline etc. incl. Robin Hood's Bay, released to the web on June 16. A wonderful half-hour, beautifully shot and edited. Performance is impeccable. Access all areas here. Apologies In Advance if this has already been mentioned - couldn't find any reference. Also released on the same day in the same series is a show with banjoists Jody Stecher and Kate Brislin, which is worth a look. Thanks to Mudcatter Geoff G. for alerting me to this series. (I just realised that MC will never lose his guitar - it's got his name written on the head-board AND in the soundhole.... ;-)) |
