Ya' know, if you'd named your piano some American name, it wouldn't be so hard to find.

(there ain't much I can find either and none in English here either!!)

HEY WOLFGANG!!!!! (send him a PM Gypsy)

There's a book called "The Piano Atlas" which can probably help a bit but the problem with finding out about old German pianos is that there were so many makers of pianos in Germany at one point there was around 400 makers in Berlin alone

Criminy! Guess i had better learn German, after all. Or hunt up a German speaking friend.

Try the reference department at your local library. Our library answered a question just like this a little while ago. If your library is very small, ask at a bigger library sometime when you're traveling to another town.

ooops. Looks like both sites are actually the same....different pages on the same site. Oh well. I am really curious to know if Gypsy's looks like this. If you'll notice, only one of them is actually a Neubrandenburg. They are beautiful, huh?
