Having grown up attending Assembly of God churches, I can tell you dancing is not condoned in that particular sect. Here's their take on the situation. I was not allowed to go to high school dances. Once our school held a 'surprise' dance as a treat to the students during school hours, and I was terrified that my parents would find out and I'd be in big trouble! FTR, I'm 28 and grew up in Indiana.
