Greg, if you mean the chicken person, it is definitely Sanders and not Saunders. Harland David Sanders was the entrepreneur and chef who founded Kentucky Fried Chicken. He was a "Kentucky Colonel," which is an honorary title given out by the state of Kentucky (sort of like a state-level knighthood!) Hence his trademarked name, Colonel Sanders. You are unclear in your above post whether you do mean Colonel Sanders, or whether there is some other person who is really name Saunders but sometimes incorrectly called Sanders. Unless you clarify, it might be hard to guess the final clue.
