Try to take a picture of that incredible blue you see only in Alaska. That's all I want Ebbie.
Glad you're safely here, Micca.

Dani,I found a copy of the photo from our last road trip all draped over Kendall the other day.... Ahh (notice I have worded this as if it is and will be a recurring type of adventure...)

For now I live vicariously......

Ebbie, pass on a few hugs -- gee I even get to say from the southland ---

Wish I could saddle up, pick you up on the way, and intercept him up North!

*g* I visited my husband's brother one time- and that's kind of the way it was, Stilly. And that was just a jail, not a prison. I don't know what kind of glass it was. I do know it wasn't nice.

If he has to make any stops or transfer planes at Dallas/Fort Worth, please let me know. With our security system here I won't be able to get in and he won't want to come out, but maybe they have bullet-proof glass and a two way phone system like in prisons. :)

You are worse than a pair of eight year old boys. And the first one to toss a road apple into a martini will get a whoopin'.
Put that swizzle stick away, Ebbie, and help Liz get out of the loo. Your little chat inspired her.

That's very funny - and I'm glada that their insurance covers the damage. Ann Boochever, by the way, is an aunt of Olympic silver medalist in skiing Hilary Lindh, several years back, also a local person.

Moose droppings around these parts, Morticia, are more popular than bear scat. You will find them in the shops, laminated, glued onto swizzle sticks, or packaged prettily in chocolate boxes or presented in a number of other ways. (Moose droppings resemble huge rabbit droppings, although they are piled like cowpies.)

Actually, I spect bear poo would be very good for my garden, so if you can find a way to get it back through customs........of course, llama poo is probably just as good.

All's I know is that he-n-me are going to try to meet for the one day we'll both be in New Hampshire, which is, I believe 1 Aug. The next day I go off to Pinewoods Camp, and I believe he'll be off West by the end of that week.
