After makng sure there would be no adverse reactions with my other meds, my doctor approved my going back to St. John's Wort.

Kendall, that shows the doctor's ignorance more than anything. There have been real medical studies done on some herbal supplements, and a doctor who doesn't pay attention to new studies because they interfere with his prejudices is an idiot - a dangerous idiot. I had a neurologist like that.

LSMFT meant even MORE impolite things when *I* was 11-12. (and I once owned a Lucky Strike Green package.......well, I found it, but..)

I was a bit surprised when he recommended Echinacea. My previous doctor used to scoff at such non trad treatments.He once referred to Ginko biloba as dildo baloney.

Ok folks, here is an update.
My regular doctor says I'm in good shape, no worries about the Strepp throat, and, I'm not to do any shovelling or any other strenuous actvity.He wants me to call him on Friday just to check in.

Well, I passed with flying colors. Not only do I know what LSMFT means, but I also klnow where Lucky Green went off to. I remember the joy of cold Moxie in hot summer, too.

Anyway, you guys really got to me with your complaints about the cold, I was being hard-hearted about; so I developed a special flu bug that makes every muscle in your body shiver when the temp goes below 60. POetic justice, huh?

That is not unusual with strep. It hangs on and iften requires multiple regimens of drugs to eliminate it. I had it six years ago. It took five weeks and three different drugs to clean it out.
Meantime - ACIDOPHILUS!!!! or you will have more problems next week.
