You have no idea, Gnu. Just dealing with my sisters when they are in "crisis mode" is stressing me out big time. I am the youngest by a significant amount of years and so I get left out of all of the decision-making. I am told what my assignment is instead. As you can tell, this pisses me off a little bit :-)

Not likely Amos - she keeps on embarrassing him by telling him how cute he is!

I just phoned home - spoke to his daughter, Deb, who says that he looks very well but is very tired. I did speak to him as well but he hasn't much voice with all the problems and has been told to rest it. He's glad to be home and will be taking it very easy for a few days at least. He sees his cardiologist next week to see how things are and right now his daughters are working out who will go with him to that meeting.

All his ladies there are making sure that he is well looked after while I'm away, which is a real blessing. I still feel that I should be there but he doesn't want me to cut short my UK time and my family have looked forward to my visit.

Kendall's daughter has just emailed me to say that he's home from hospital and they have arranged for him to have someone in the house to watch over him. It seems he probably had a very mild heart attack and he has had his meds doubled, leaving him very lethargic. The pain meds he's taking are also making him, to quote his daughter, 'loopy'. Looks like he will be taking it very easy for a while!

I forgot about the duck - another goodie for Jacqui to display in the sun room or pass on to Spaw. This one sings "If you're happy and you know it..." over and over while waving, jumping and shouting hooray. Thoroughly obnoxious. But I do believe that it was the impetus that threw Kendall into recovery mode.

They had him on a Heparin drip overnight and are going to manage everything with meds at this point. My brother-in-law should have him home by now.

My sister, Deb, and I scolded him last night because everytime he goes in for 1 thing 4 others pop up. Hopefully we can put an end to that trend this time.

Mary, the "duck" is in the sun room. He insisted I "get it the hell outta here" when we left last night.

There has been at least one case I know of where family members kept getting it over and over until they had the dog checked and treated. As we all know, dogs will lick ANYthing, and while you may not give a big wet one to your dog, your dog doesn't share your inhibitions.
