Subject: RE: Jane's Rainbow: for all needing support & comfort From: Nigel Paterson Date: 06 Oct 14 - 06:00 AM Despite Ann's train being delayed, we still had time to eat lunch & get to her appointment earlier than the appointed time! Janie, we have to wait a few days for the results, but with Ann's previous medical history, they usually bump cancer patients to the head of the queue. Pete, yes, by 6pm UK time, we had returned to Paterson Towers AND in true Brit. style, had drunk a mug (the cups come out when we have visitors!) of well-earned tea. Ann enjoyed her college reunion immensely, meeting a number of former students she hadn't seen since graduation. Much exchanging of 'phone numbers & email addresses. With Much Love to You All, Nigel & Ann. xxxxxxxxxx |

Subject: RE: Jane's Rainbow: for all needing support & comfort From: GUEST,pete from seven stars link Date: 05 Oct 14 - 12:57 PM it is almost 6 pm English time so I expect ann has had her appointment and you will be posting when you are able, nigel. hoping that it has been a good weekend, and that the appointment has been helpful, and reassuring. prayerful thoughts with you both......pete. |
Subject: RE: Jane's Rainbow: for all needing support & comfort From: Nigel Paterson Date: 05 Oct 14 - 05:11 AM Ann has spent the weekend in Liverpool at a college reunion, so she'll be returning to London in a state of nostalgia overload! Assuming her train arrives on time, we'll still have time for lunch before her appointment at 4.40pm. Public transport on Sundays is always fraught with engineering works, leading to line closures. Fortunately, the route we will be taking is engineering-free, so it should be plain sailing. Thank you, all, for your warm, supportive words, With Love, Nigel & Ann. xxxxxxxxxx |

Subject: RE: Jane's Rainbow: for all needing support & comfort From: Nigel Paterson Date: 03 Oct 14 - 05:08 AM Beautiful song, Janie. The two lines you quote above would make a perfect motto for Jane's Rainbow. Not sure how we'd stand, copyright-wise though. Your thoughts, prayers, meditations, candles, for my belovéd Ann. She had a malignant melanoma successfully removed several years ago. Several lumps have recently presented, far too close to the site of the original op. Scan this coming Sunday afternoon. Be with us if you can, Much Love to You All, Nigel & Ann. xxxxxxxxxxx |

Wendy, people who do not respect boundaries must have their options reduced. Your strategy is an excellent first step. |
Subject: RE: Jane's Rainbow: for all needing support & comfort From: billybob Date: 22 Sep 14 - 08:00 AM Here I go again...... came back from work on Saturday to find mother's carer very upset. She caught my brother going through my and Billy's mail, left in a pile in the kitchen! Please don't agree with my furious daughter, who thinks I should ban him from the house, that would distress mum who lights up when he walks in. We haven't confronted him because Billy says he would probably lose his temper and doesn't want to risk a heart attack? I have never seen him lose his temper in 30 years but this might be the straw and the camel if you know what I mean! I have blitzed the kitchen the worktops have never been so empty of clutter and every piece of paper has been removed to a safe private place. I must have been bad in a previous life? Its like living in a far fetched movie. Hay ho, coffee on , breath, calm.............. love to all Wendy xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |
