Subject: RE: BS: Pick nose, Pick butt, Pick Kerry From: Jack the Sailor Date: 31 Oct 04 - 02:02 PM So you are voting for Nader because you do not think the Republicans will allow Kerry to keep his promises? ROTFL!! |
Subject: RE: BS: Pick nose, Pick butt, Pick Kerry From: chris nightbird childs Date: 31 Oct 04 - 02:01 PM Voting for Nader is good, but he'll never win. That's what it's really about right? |
Subject: RE: BS: Pick nose, Pick butt, Pick Kerry From: GUEST Date: 31 Oct 04 - 02:00 PM Nope, it ain't Amos. The line of progressives backing Kerry will be very short come November 3rd. My mom proudly voted for Nader, because he is the strongest candidate advocating for single payer health care, like the rest of the civilized world has. I do believe many people who are planning to vote for Kerry are demoralized. They should be. Voting for Nader is a much more productive use of your vote. Voting for Kerry is simply throwing your vote to the Republicrat wolves. |
Subject: RE: BS: Pick nose, Pick butt, Pick Kerry From: Amos Date: 31 Oct 04 - 01:55 PM And Kerry pledges more of the same health care system, with a couple less folks like my mom. Maybe. But probably not. First of all, the description you offer has nothing to do with Kerry's language concerning his intentions for health care. What kind of twisted rhetoric is this? You're going loopy on us, I am sorry to say. Your assessment as to what he will do or not do are awfully high-handed, coming from someone who doesn't even have the guts to use a name. I don't see why you're in a position to pass such condescending judgment on someone who is giving everything he has to make a difference. Your patent superiority is in fact vaguely immoral. Give the man some room and let him show us what he's got. Your attitude is demoralizing and counter-productive. A |
Subject: RE: BS: Pick nose, Pick butt, Pick Kerry From: GUEST Date: 31 Oct 04 - 01:29 PM Kerry has made a lot of promises, most of which he will never deliver upon. I would put his so-called health care "reforms" at the top of the list of promises he will never fulfill, because 1) he won't have a mandate, and 2) even if elected by a +2% majority over Bush, he won't have the backing of Congress, because of the AMA/HMO lobby. |
Subject: RE: BS: Pick nose, Pick butt, Pick Kerry From: Jack the Sailor Date: 31 Oct 04 - 01:06 PM Kerry promises insurance for catostropic situations. Did your mother spend all of her mother on a chronic illness? Michael Moore make good films but as a politician, he disgusts me. Statements like that don't help Kerry. They simply draw attention to Michael Moore. |
Subject: RE: BS: Pick nose, Pick butt, Pick Kerry From: GUEST Date: 31 Oct 04 - 12:48 PM Same thing here in Minnesota Bobert, only I haven't voted yet. But my lifelong Republican mother cast the last presidential vote she will ever make for Nader. Reason? Health care. This health care system bankrupted my mother, forced her onto welfare and into a nursing home. And Kerry pledges more of the same health care system, with a couple less folks like my mom. Maybe. But probably not. |
Subject: RE: BS: Pick nose, Pick butt, Pick Kerry From: SINSULL Date: 31 Oct 04 - 12:23 PM Well guys, when your done picking a candidate and your various orifices, please wash your hands. Who knows where those voting booths have been and who's been fiddling around in there? |
Subject: RE: BS: Pick nose, Pick butt, Pick Kerry From: Amos Date: 31 Oct 04 - 10:34 AM Bobert: Shame and fie, sirrah! You demean an honorable man. Go to, th'art a rascally rogue of a fellow. A |
Subject: RE: BS: Pick nose, Pick butt, Pick Kerry From: GUEST,Rebecca Date: 31 Oct 04 - 09:37 AM Long gone but still registered Ohio's Election Day rolls include people who couldn't—and shouldn't—vote Sunday, October 24, 2004 Jon Craig THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH Ohio's voter-registration rolls are dirty, containing more than 122,000 apparent duplicates as well as the names of people who moved out of state in the 1990s, a local murder victim and even a pair of accused terrorists... registered voters in at least seven Ohio counties — including Franklin, Cuyahoga and Licking — exceeds the estimated votingage population. Subject: RE: BS: Pick nose, Pick butt, Pick Kerry From: Bobert Date: 31 Oct 04 - 09:12 AM Picking ones butt is like picking Kerry. Nadar on '04... Awww, jus' funnin' wid ya' all this mornin'... Kinda... Actually, if Wes Ginny looses to Bush by one vote ya' all can blame me 'cause I allready voted and should it be counted, which this year is another issue, then it will be all me fault... But to my Green friends in Oregon: Call a friend in Texas or some other state that is safely in the Bush column (like any of the Southern sates except Florida) and see if you can broker a deal... Subject: RE: BS: Pick nose, Pick butt, Pick Kerry From: Amos Date: 31 Oct 04 - 09:04 AM Thanks, Rebecca G! From the above: ""And let me tell you something that is bad news for the Republicans -- really bad news: They can only win if people stay home. They are counting on it, they are hoping against hope the majority of people in this state and the other swing state don't vote," Moore said. "Democrats have registered 250 percent more [voters] than Republicans in the swing states," he said. Moore said that historically disenfranchised voters such as the poor, single moms and especially young voters are going to turn out on Election Day. " A |
Subject: BS: Pick nose, Pick butt, Pick Kerry From: GUEST,Rebecca Date: 31 Oct 04 - 08:45 AM "Michael Moore Says 'We Are Doomed' Unless Kerry Wins By Marc Morano CNSNews.com Senior Staff Writer October 14, 2004 "I have a feeling that slackers are going to rise up in this election. I believe it, I have seen it all over this country," Moore said of the youth vote... The slacker motto is: 'Sleep till noon, drink beer, vote Kerry November 2,'" Moore quipped. "Pick nose, pick butt, pick Kerry," he added to applause. "Slackers of the world, unite!" http://www.cnsnews.com/ViewPolitics.asp?Page=\Politics\archive\200410\POL20041014a.html RG |
