Nope, it ain't Amos. The line of progressives backing Kerry will be very short come November 3rd.

My mom proudly voted for Nader, because he is the strongest candidate advocating for single payer health care, like the rest of the civilized world has.

I do believe many people who are planning to vote for Kerry are demoralized. They should be. Voting for Nader is a much more productive use of your vote. Voting for Kerry is simply throwing your vote to the Republicrat wolves.

First of all, the description you offer has nothing to do with Kerry's language concerning his intentions for health care.

What kind of twisted rhetoric is this? You're going loopy on us, I am sorry to say.

Your assessment as to what he will do or not do are awfully high-handed, coming from someone who doesn't even have the guts to use a name. I don't see why you're in a position to pass such condescending judgment on someone who is giving everything he has to make a difference. Your patent superiority is in fact vaguely immoral.

Give the man some room and let him show us what he's got. Your attitude is demoralizing and counter-productive.

Kerry has made a lot of promises, most of which he will never deliver upon. I would put his so-called health care "reforms" at the top of the list of promises he will never fulfill, because 1) he won't have a mandate, and 2) even if elected by a +2% majority over Bush, he won't have the backing of Congress, because of the AMA/HMO lobby.

Kerry promises insurance for catostropic situations. Did your mother spend all of her mother on a chronic illness?

Michael Moore make good films but as a politician, he disgusts me. Statements like that don't help Kerry. They simply draw attention to Michael Moore.

Same thing here in Minnesota Bobert, only I haven't voted yet. But my lifelong Republican mother cast the last presidential vote she will ever make for Nader. Reason? Health care. This health care system bankrupted my mother, forced her onto welfare and into a nursing home.

And Kerry pledges more of the same health care system, with a couple less folks like my mom. Maybe. But probably not.

Awww, jus' funnin' wid ya' all this mornin'... Kinda... Actually, if Wes Ginny looses to Bush by one vote ya' all can blame me 'cause I allready voted and should it be counted, which this year is another issue, then it will be all me fault...

But to my Green friends in Oregon: Call a friend in Texas or some other state that is safely in the Bush column (like any of the Southern sates except Florida) and see if you can broker a deal...
