Subject: RE: BS: BS: Psoriasis? Dandruff? Try green tea From: Richard Bridge Date: 09 Aug 07 - 07:33 PM Not my preference, but what about elegible samesexians? |
Subject: RE: BS: BS: Psoriasis? Dandruff? Try green tea From: GUEST,PMB Date: 09 Aug 07 - 03:41 AM I'd both drink it and wash the affected areas with it. As well as enjoying the drink, there's the chance that eligible othersexians will smell your hair and decide that you are just their cup of tea. |
Subject: RE: BS: BS: Psoriasis? Dandruff? Try green tea From: Stilly River Sage Date: 09 Aug 07 - 12:41 AM I suspect the answer will be a cream formulated with ingredients such as ground tea mixed into lanolin or glycerin or something else that can be absorbed. Messy, though. Like the rest of you, I'll continue drinking it for the time being. SRS |

Subject: RE: BS: BS: Psoriasis? Dandruff? Try green tea From: skipy Date: 08 Aug 07 - 06:04 PM The water at the bottom of the ocean is compressed by the weight of the water above it all the way to the surface, and is more dense than the water at the surface. A consequence of compressing a fluid is that the viscosity, that is the resistance of the fluid to flow, also increases as the density increases. This is because the atoms are forced closer together, and thus cannot slip by each other as easily as they can when the fluid is at atmospheric pressure. Skipy Aircraft engineer, so I do understand hydraulics! |
Subject: RE: BS: BS: Psoriasis? Dandruff? Try green tea From: Cluin Date: 08 Aug 07 - 05:51 PM Ya can a tiny bit. And call it hydraulics. |
Subject: RE: BS: BS: Psoriasis? Dandruff? Try green tea From: Peace Date: 08 Aug 07 - 05:26 PM "green tea yoghourt compresses" Ya can't compress a liquid. |

Subject: RE: BS: BS: Psoriasis? Dandruff? Try green tea From: Don Firth Date: 08 Aug 07 - 03:20 PM Yeah, I was wondering that, too: Does on drink it, bathe in it, or snort it? Drink it for now, I guess, while waiting for further developments. Don Firth |

Subject: RE: BS: BS: Psoriasis? Dandruff? Try green tea From: Cluin Date: 08 Aug 07 - 02:37 PM From the linked article: ...The chemicals in green tea are so active that they are oxidized too quickly when mixed with other ingredients. They also dissolve in water, which cannot penetrate the skin's barrier. Researchers are looking for a balanced formula that can dissolve in fats, which can permeate the skin, Dr. Hsu says... I think that means it probably won't work either way, Peace. But Imbibing is a better bet for now. |
Subject: RE: BS: BS: Psoriasis? Dandruff? Try green tea From: Ebbie Date: 08 Aug 07 - 02:27 PM Interesting. I'm just now reading 'Self-Consciousness', a 1990 memoir by John Updike. He has/had psoriasis which evidently even today is held in check only by medications. His attitude to it as a boy and how it affected him as a man is revealing. Wonder if he will be reading this article? |
