My neice and her boyfreind at the time were attacked by 4 yobs on their way home from a party one night. My neice teaches Thai Boxing and her boyfriend was the regional Contact Tai Kwan Do champion. The first yob went down like a stone and remained there. Two eventualy escapped by running off and the last one was begging neices boyfriend to stop her hitting him. Police came very quickly and arrested the last one who had been restrained in a very painful armlock and the other who was just rising, very dazed, from the ground. They promised my neice that no action would be taken against her or her boyfriend as it has all been recorded on CCTV. There is justice in the world occasionaly:-) Good on the two lads in this one as well.

Thanks! NOW I understand.... the link I watched last night did not show clearly show that the yobs had done anything to get beaten up for. THIS video clearly shows that the vests were within their rights to kick some ass.

I love your story,Rapaire ! But,sadly,due to "soft"attitudes and "Human Rights",anyone in Great Britain who used a wepon of any sort (we are not allowed to own guns) in order to protect themselves from intruders would be arrested and thrown in prison,whilst the intruders would get counselling and compensation. Sounds crazy,but it's a fact.
What the imbeciles who govern us don't realise is that it is actually counter -productive,as one day someone who is really pissed off is going to think "Fuck it ! I am going to prison for this ,if I hit them,so I might as well KILL them !" But then the days of sensible government in the UK,when it was an accepted fact that "an Englishman's home is is castle " are long gone down the plughole.

Some years ago my mum was coming out of the newsagents to see two yobs chucking eggs at the door of the parked bus (my dad was sat in their car waiting for mom).
She set about the two thugs with her walking stick, cracking them on the backs of the legs.

Yep you've guessed it............. she was arrested and charged with assult!
She stood her ground and went to court, and after a lot of fuss in the local paper was acquitted - she point blank refused to apologise for her actions, and would have quite happily gone to prison

The yobs got off scot-free as the bus company didnt take any action against them.

Mom was 81 at the time.

I saw this too. Don't normally watch things with people bashing other people, but must admit it was a killer.

The bare-chested geezer, saw the guys in ladies clothing and probably assumed they were a gay couple.

The funniest bit is where one of the guys in drag, calmly bends down and rummages through the fallen bodies to collect his hand bag!
I thought the guys in drag were actually pretty restrained. It could have been quite tempting in the heat of the moment, to have done some real damage.

A few years back someone posted a link to a story about yobs who didn't like the concert a group of pensioners were attending in a park. The men all stood up & leaning upon their sticks, advanced upon the yobs who departed at a rate of knots. Seems that the intended attack took them back to their war service & they weren't going to let another bunch of thugs cause trouble.

Some years back a couple of young thugs broke into a woman's Dallas home around 2 a.m. The old lady -- in her 90s -- was wheelchair bound and the punks had bragged that they were going to steal a bundle of money from her.

Wrong. As they broke down the door to her "library" (she couldn't sleep and was reading) she pulled out an old Colt .45 revolver and shot both of them, one dead and the other badly wounded.

Seems like she grew up on a ranch during rough times in Texas....

I have a hard time sympathizing with violent punks regardless of race, religion, country of origin, or sexual orientation.

I recall a report several years ago , of an elderly Englsh lady who was the victim of an attempted mugging in New York . Sadly for the mugger , the elderly lady had learned Karate when younger , and was able to include in her description of the attacker a probably broken left arm !
I cant help wondering what his explanation to his mates was !
