Didn't manage to catch the Shellback Chorus, but to Derek and Ken who called in to the Falcon last Wednesday - many thanks again I know a lot of the regulars were up there in Lancaster and will be trying to attend the other venues on the list.

Don't forget Fylde - a Mudcatters get together must be on the cards?

take care

Pete

There were several Mudcatters with the Shellback Chorus - we sang in Lancaster on Saturday and Glasson Dock on Sunday. Highlight of the weekend was standing on the deck of HMS Charger and singing to the people on the quay.

Some great artists there, and wonderful pub singing too. Let's hope we will be able to go back for many Easters to some.

Wassail! V

Well The Lancaster Maritime Festival is drawing to an end - songs have been sung - friends have gathered together again - ale and grog has flowed like the river Lune and a good time was had by all?

Unfortunately due to other commitments over the Easter week-end we only managed to get there on the Friday, but we managed to get around meet some old friends and listen to great artists like Bob Fox, Scolds Bridle etc..

Not many Mudcatter T-Shirts around on the Fri - unless they were hidden by the period garb? - let me know Jan!!!

So to everyone concerned - organisers, artist, et al. thanks again for a great weekend (day in our case)and to friends we didn't manage to catch up with - see u soon.

How was it for you?

Will it still be with us next year?

Pete
