For those of you who've spotted the error in the text linked to above, the last line of the verse is missing. But as it is the same as the last line of the chorus (The bit that starts Sinne Fianna Fáil), this is not a major problem.

Yes it is ceolmhar meaning musical.

and Sláinte means Health more like Slawn-Cheh.

By the way ceómhar means foggy.

I think I'm right in saying, ...it's pronounced..Slawn-cha! There's no 'J' in the irish alphabet..

I think it should be ceolmhar, Haruo- ie they left the l out. My limited knowledge of Irish includes the word ceol = music.

Keep working at it and you will get there. But remember what Bill Bryson (A man I have a lot of respect for) said -

The Irish language was invented by 2 different commitees. One did the spoken word and one the written. Trouble is the 2 did not speak to each other...;-)

kyolwar for "ceomhar"? Does "mh" regularly (or predictably) involve an "L" sound??

I know from a Sassenach POV Irish Gaelic spelling is not entirely user-friendly, but this bit seems more counterintuitive than usual. Like Fijian C and Q or something.
