I've said it before and I'll say it again. So listen Martin. I'm always happy to hear an opposing view. An exchange of ideas is what made this country great. What I object to is your foul mouth - it's not the views you express it's the the language you use. Clean up your act. Most of us stopped using those words when we were in junior high. What's your excuse ?

Doug R and others have been doing it for years. But they do so in an intelligent thoughtful manner. It's just your potty mouth and unreasonable hatred for anyone that isn't you that we object to. Good point, DougR. Maybe Mudcat should take to the air. I am sure they would screen callers who don't agree with their views.

Trouble is, they would not know what to do with all of that dead air they could not fill. We would hear a lot of inhaling sounds and coughing.

That is what's refreshing. Conservative talk radio drives some here crazy.

No, sorefingers, it's possible it's learning from one's mistakes. I sure have as I got older.

Things that I did such as smoke pot really have no redeeming value and I would not want any one's children doing it.

Times are different and I accept that.

Robo, I occassionally listen to Michael Savage and if anything he can be somewhat entertaining. Dennis Prager is quite intellectual and is a very good speaker and lecturer. He also writes from time to time on the moral decay of the left wing in the Jewish periodicals. He is also a big advocate of promoting a positive judeo-Christian relationship.

Actually, Rush is too big of a blow hard for me.

The fact is, the left wing has no leadership or spokespeople for all practical purposes in both politics and talk radio, except of course Jerry Springer and Al Franken.

Hmm Martin, I was quite happy laughing my end off at Mr Henry and his dopey made-up guests, but thats another story.

Currently working on two things to help show the world that the USA is not the neo-fascist crackpot breeding ground that the media suggests, 1 a radio jammer/pirate device to close down the sh1t bands and related 2 a normal non attack audio presentation to uplift the audience not brainwash them into morons!

BTW what I find most irritating about these leather and whip type old folks is that they themselves indulged in the most bestial behavior when they were young, but now old and unable to do it they don't want anybody
esp their kids to be doing it.

Rush Limbaugh is a gifted hotairian in the fine ol' Amurrican tradition. He analyzes angles and figures out what he can get away with. Except for all the commercials and the extreme unctuousness of his self regard, he could be even more successful than he is. Dennis Prager, the last time I heard him, was a bit more intellectual than ol' Rush, which is why he'll never go far in the racket.

I agree that pickin' on the French is kind of misdirected, and, to my mind, no irony intended, cowardly.

But if you were aware of what the Nazis were actually about and what they actually said, you'd blow a little less hot your own self. There is a huge difference between hot air and hellfire.

Most of our European muddies probably don't know about US mainline Talkradio and how that has gradualy evolved into something so like the Nazi/fascist propaganda machine of the 1930's that sometimes one could be forgiven for asking the day month and year.

We used just have Wus Bimbo ( AKA Rush Dumbhole ) now there is a line of them, all reformed Leftie Liberals who have gotten older and do pretty much the same old rubbish, ie., twist the facts, create false news, ad hominem attacks on their old friends, and so on.

What is most startling this last week is the abuse they vent on France and the EU. In German it would sound like the Nazis justifying the invasion of France and Holland.

One particularly nasty attack on the French after the NO win in France- by Miss Lora Ingratefull Polak wannabe Miss Adolf - shrieked over the airwaves 'the ???? French lanuage is dead already' adding without actually saying it, the French are finished so who cares about them anyway.

Besides Miss Hitler we have the Jewish club of Mr Praeger and Mrs Bedwed, also midday. The morning brings us Mr Bennet ( Catholic apologist pro life pro dollar man ) ex US Government drug Czar and all around word juggler but as rightwing as Musolini on a his worst day.

What is most scary about this trend is the lack of alternative shows and those that do take the p*** out of the right tend now to be on Digital which is OC subscriber only.

Remember most of these folks were as Liberal as can be, and all of them suceed by the same tricks since the very start. Ie they lie, they make up news, the quote out of context, they attack people not the fallacies of the opposition, they use false callers - ie people who pretend to be calling in-, they rarely if ever have calls from liberals.

Its a scary thing to see again the same evils which Woody Guthrie wrote about taking hold...oh and these new Fascists are big on beating the immigrant to death just like the bulls and thugs of the 1920-30's did.
