Don't do the hair removal thing until you have to - it doesn't necessarily do the same for everyone.
And they may change their minds and offer something else and you can both keep your hair.

one of my friends was successfully treated for 2 different cancers over the years - one lot of chemo took her hair, the other didn't

Surgery tomorrow morning (Thursday), then we know the full extend. This has to be alright. For God sakes we met at 16 ... married at 20 ..
38 years ... My brain cannot accept anything but good news it just has to be ... I am a bit of a basket case today but that is ok ...

Did you get "the book" yet??? There are some very encouraging statistics in it for Stage 1 breast cancer... Very encouraging!!!

She'll be fine.
I know I didn't get much sleep the night before but once you get there your brain seems to go into overdrive. Medical people come in and out, do things to you, tell you what's happening and before you know it, it's all done. Then you go back to sleep until they wake you for tests and stuff.
By the weekend it'll be all over.
What you doin' this weekend?
Any plans for next week?
