Mommie worm! This is something Willie sometimes says when feeling exceptionally cuddly. The proper answer is Willie worm! with a great big hug. No idea where that came from, but it's heartwarming, every time.

"I missed you" said by either twin when coming back from visitation with my X2B. I know that he does the Disneyland Dad stuff, all fun and games and no discipline, so it's REALLY nice if they manage to miss me anyway!

Among the nicest things that have ever been said to me were (not in any particular order):

"I think you are probably a lot like your father." (It was said by bbc.)

"I really love that song!" (said by someone who didn't know at the time that I had written it).

"You are more Christian than most Christians I know." (said nearly forty years ago by BarbaraLynn who knows that I am not one).

"I love you" (said by Kathy more than nine years ago and who still hold the key to my heart).

"I am proud to call him my great friend." (said by Bill Sables).

"You play guitar really well!" (said by someone who I thought should know better).

"Allan is a true gent." (WyoWoman)

"I loved reading this. It's like a large goblet of fine wine!" (written by a friend who had never before read one of my stories).

I'm a children's librarian, and some of my favorite words to hear are:

"This is just the right book."

"I got an "A" on that report!"

"More stories, PLEEEEEEEEEASE!" (Said by a roomful of pre-kindergartners with their best manners on.)

"I remember you! You're the one who told that story about..."

"Hey! Library lady!" (the best occasion was on the fourth of July watching fireworks five miles away from my branch.)

But I'll admit, my favorites are usually "The library will be closing in five minutes, please bring your books up to the front desk to be checked out."

Come to think of it, on the personal side, I truly love it when one of my sisters or my mom remembers to say "Good night, God bless you," at the end of a phone conversation. (My brother almost always remembers.) My grandmother lived with us for years, and she said that to us every night.
