Spaw just called me, they capped the trach tube and he could talk normal. He is coming along very well. Walking around, got a ways to go but is hoping they spring him next week. He is hoping anyway. It was just so good to hear him and know he is getting stronger and moving around again. He is feeling much better, he was doing some coughing and it scared me a moment then said they want him to do that. All in all sounding very good indeed.

I forgot to say that he told me to tell everyone how much he "loves them" He is someone very special to all of us, this thing scared him also.   I am glad it is almost over with ... I lost a lot of sleep over it and so did everyone here. Just so nice to hear his voice and hear him talk normal again. Good grief what an ordeal it was

You knewed you was gonna get out on the 4th and so you turned the tables on 'um so on the way from the hospital you stopped off at the Benny's Bean Shack and ordered up a couple three quarts and you set up yer TV and all where yer buddies (heh heh) were gonna outfox you and you sat down on yer Lazi-Liner (patent pending) and you preceded to watch "I Love Lucy" reruns all the while pilin' them Benny's Bean Shack beans into you like there was no tomorrow when all yer friend showed up thinkin' they was gonna pull one over on you and...

...well, they made the mistake of opening the garage door just as you fired off the shot from Hell... Hell???.... Geeze, that seems purdy weak fir Benny's Bean Shack... Hell just comes up lame...

No matter... Lame 'er not...

At that very moment, Billy Siler -- remember him -- lite a cigarette and, well, I think his explains the thread about a foot found floatin' ashore out their 'round Oregon 'er Kansas??? Heck of a shot I'd say seein' as that foot left from Ohio....

Dave sent all this shit out last Thursday, UPS is looking to see where it is ... now I am getting pissed, Spaw will have one next week if I have to go out and buy a new one ... UPS .. I have had nothing but problems with them over the last year. One of my pocket watches sent out for repair .. gone ... anyway I am on it, just giving you and update, this will happen next week one way or the other. For heaven sakes ...

The weather along the east coast has been horrendous. Even if UPS wanted to ship your package, half their employees never made it to work and most of the planes never made it into to Boston to load.
I am not a big UPS fan but my company is having the same delays and our customers are less than thrilled.

Normally I am pretty patient, but Spaw is going stir crazy, he needs to get online and start talking with folks and his family .. I forgot about the weather issues ... Next week it will happen like I said one way or the other.   Hopefully now they found it in route the monday date will hold up ..

Things shipped in boxes that reflect the contents can be more vulnerable to the "five finger discount" in areas where security isn't so good. I have had things go missing from warehouses when they were in boxes labeled "NewEgg," etc.

Fingers crossed it gets there soon, or it's back to plan A.

it is heavily insured, Like I said, if it is not there, I will buy one for him ... either way he is covered. He needs to get online or he will go nuts in that place. UPS did find it and knows exactly where it is so I think there is no worries on arrival now
