Hi we are now in New Zealand with my nephew in Auckland and are heading off south today to get some NZ cluture. We had a great time in Oz and as Arnie says "Well be back" If any NZ catters want Mudcat Tee shirts I have a few with me I will be here in NZ for about 12 days My email address here is [e-mail]

Back in Auckland now after travelling up, down and across the North Island, Did the road planners in NZ ever think of using a ruler? We are having a few days around Auckland and North and hope to get to Davenport if I can find it on 19th to met up with Gurney and anyone else who is there and then back to OZ. I'll try to post more later.

Well Bill and Lorna are in Auckland. Tomorrow - Wednesday they will arrive in Melbourne. Calling on us will be a big side trip but if it works out we'll be thrilled. Melbourne is going to be like an oven. Over 100. Not so bad here. We get the cool change that's on the way first. Joy

I got to the Devonport Folk club in Auckland last night, never met any NZ catters but the view from the club must be one the best folk club views in the world overlooking Auckland harbour. We fly out tomorrow back to Melbourne and after a few days onwards to Singapore then back home.

We are home again We arrived on Wednesday to snow and ice and found out that we were new grandparents. I notice everyone is congratulating Andrew my son but he had nothing to do with it. It was my daughter Catherine and her husband Jason who had the new baby. She was born when we were in Singapore on January 23rd and weighed in at 7 lbs. They are calling her Amber. Thanks to every one we met up with it made our trip very memorable.
