Subject: RE: Fox and Hounds Weekend 2007 From: Splott Man Date: 10 May 07 - 06:35 AM Have a good weekend. Me and her Dameship are off doing missionary work in Holmfirth. We'll be doing a spoons workshop in yer actual Sid's Café from Last of the Summer Wine. Do we get folk points for that? I'll work on the inflatable idea for merchandising. I once made a flat me out of a foam bedroll (for a panto - ask me sometime!). The Victorians used to use cut out people to fill a room, and you can buy inflatable "companions" for in the car (Driving! Wipe that smirk off your face!). Inflatable Pattie? - not too difficult. Inflatable George? - you'd need a foot pump. Inflatable Shellbacks? - hang on... |

I went stressed and came back floating.(Ha Ha) Had a great time. Weather doesn't affect you with the warmth of those there, or was it hot air being sung out? Have it in my diary for next year as a must. But before I go a rhubarb tip. Canada Red (long thick stalks) I also believe ladies that it is extra sweet. Crimson Red (for the tall and plump. or was that it is tall and plump?)Macdonald cause you to be brilliant red however it is known for its tender skin. oooh. Not sure if any more helpful tips should be given but ensure you have the right bed before applcation of manure or fertiliser. Shouldn't wash your dirty linen in public. Keep your secrets and remember don't cover the crowns. Many thanks to all Allan |

Subject: RE: Fox and Hounds Weekend 2007 From: Hawker Date: 14 May 07 - 12:10 PM Have just been reading about the wonderful effects of Rhubarb - and discovered this little gem, I thin its supposed to be serious, but the spelling mistake makes it a rib tickling piece................. What Is Rhubarb Used for Today? Rhubarb root contains lindleyin, a substance with estrogen-like properties.1 On this basis, extracts of rhubarb have been tried for control of menopausal symptoms. In a 12-week, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial of 109 women with menopause-related problems, use of a standardized Rheum rhaponticum. extract significantly improved symptoms as compared to placebo.2 Improvements were particularly seen in rate and severity of hot flashes. While this is meaningful supporting evidence, additional independent trials will be necessary to establish this rhubarb extract as a safe and effective treatment for menopause. So Guys, if you want your women to improve their HOT FLASHES, give them more rhubarb - especially if they are menopausal!!!!!!!!! LOL On a more serious note, another article warned....................... "Despite its therapeutic properties, it is however good to be cautious in its use, there is some interaction of rhubarb with some medicines for the treatment of heart problems, so go easy on the Rhubarb out there if you are on heart meds! - of course you can still use it as a splint! Cheers, Lucy |
Subject: RE: Fox and Hounds Weekend 2007 From: GUEST,Brian Date: 14 May 07 - 12:16 PM People with a dickie ticker using it as a splint may be the problem! |
