From: chazkratz

I just started a thread called _seed(chazkratz)needs sexy thread title_. It was intended to call attention to an earlier thread I started which didn't seem to be getting the attention I thought it deserved.   Now it's gone. It has disappeared. Somebody killed it. I was not soliciting sex.   It was in no way lewd or objectionable, as far as I could tell.

Hi, Charles -
Long time, no see. Maybe you tried the Search box to find the thread. That search engine depends on an index, which hasn't been updated for over a year because we have some other unresolved problems. So, if you want to find recent threads, click on your name as somebody suggested, or use the filter.

-Joe, who thought Bush pardons self, Cheney was a good thread title-

John in Kansas and oft-cloned Holy Joe. What happened was I had just started the sexy thread title thread, gone elsewhere for a while, and when I came back it was nowhere in that part of the list that had appeared after the time I had posted it. So I started the "Where did it go? thread and as soon as I submitted it, it appeared sitting on top of the sexy name thread, which had reappeared as mysteriously as it had disappeared. I thought I had been quite clear as to which thread I sought, as I had named it, but it was late at night and sometimes things are not so clear...

Anyway, thanks, Joe, for turning the URL into a link.

Are you still going to the Davis song sessions? I still have my Monday night group--to which you are still invited, if you can break away from choir practice. I'm also going to an old-time jam on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month. There's another OT jam on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Tuesdays I've gone to a few times, but it's mostly fiddle tunes oriented--that is, mostly obscure fiddle tunes oriented, many of them crooked and with harmonic patterns that are hard to figure out. The jams I'm still going to are more song than tune oriented.

Could be worse - someone killed your Fred. then you'd be looking for a killer. You'd have to put out an APB. There would be dire consequences. There'd be a trial and he might get off and come after you revenge. Supposing police couldn't give you 'round the clock' protection.

In the circumstances, I should consider myself fortunate.

Anyway a young lad like you shouldn't be worried about the size of his thread. Get out, play football - if your small thread doesn't arouse ribald comment in the shower, its probably normal. And if it does give rise to ribald comment, well that's football players for you.

I'm sure theres nice girl somewhere who doesn't care about that sort of thing.

Yeah, Weelittledrummer, I'm a young lad of 74, bones too brittle for football, heart too undependable for cycling or tennis.

The thread I thought was missing was an attempt to call attention to another thread I had started with a satirical fantasy which is all too close to the truth for comfort. I happen to feel a desperate urgency in getting its message across. The power grabbing president and sinister vice-president are all too real, the congress's temerity in checking them well established, the Supreme Court's willingness to grant the administration almost anything it wants too obvious.

Perhaps a less oblique approach would engender an upsurge of moral indignation in the hardened hearts of those oh so cynical mudcatters.

the words you are searching for might be something like

BUSH IS A SHIT!

just a suggestion.....
