Well, the time has nearly come for the Witches to hang up our broomsticks for ever!!
After 6 rather mad years of zooming round the UK festivals and clubs, we're finally calling it a day.
It was easy to get about and rehearse when we all lived in the same flat and had little other responsibility, but families, husbands, proper jobs, mortgages and the distance between us geographically have made it increasingly difficult to get together over the last year or so...so we decided to quit while we're ahead and while we're still enjoying it rather than fizzle out.

We have just 8 gigs left together which includes our final Hallowe'en tour:

Our final gig ever will be in the style of a celebratory party at The Cumberland Arms, Byker where we started out as young, innocent witchlets! Little did we know that that was the start of a six year, 2 album rollercoaster of tours and festivals......we just liked singing and somehow people started booking us!

All the best with your various diversified lives and I'm look forward to seeing you individually if not collectively around the festivals.

My abiding memory will be of that Sunday morning church service at Dartmoor - four witches singing like angels in the pew right behind us!

I'll always keep the memory of that voice workshop in the Holywell Room. And how you planned to nick it and take it home with you (when 'home' was West Newcastle).

I recall Ms. Tolfrey being wheeled on roller skates past our camping sofa in the showers at Moor & Coast Festival.

I had heard you a few times on different internet radio stations.
Saw you live for the first time at this years Bromyard, great sound and with great attitude. Keep the faith individually or as time and seasons allow.
