Wedding anniversaries, well they can sneak up on you unawares at times. But birthdays really should stick in the memory.

The thing top do is always buy the odd present when you come across them, and stick em in a drawer. Then they are handy when something like this crops up. "You didn't really think I'd forgotten - here's my present for you."
