Someone posted a an old piece on that recently, listing all the myriad of possibillities for women, and then ending with, "men: show up naked." I'm so visually oriented, about like an eleven year old, that that's almost fair where I'm concerned.

More seriously? Where to start?... As to matters of relationships: I'm someone who spent a lot of early years feeling unlovable. Realizing that a very lovely (in all kinds of ways) lady can actually love the heck out of me almost frightened me at first, but it has been very good for me.

Well - It's not seeing just anyone nekked. You have to have standards.

But for me - one thing that makes me happy is appreciation for some of the little things I do. Just a kind word and heartfelt thanks. That goes a long way in my book.

Seriously, it's impossible to generalize. Just as not all women need exactly the same things to be 'happy', neither do all men. What is sad is that there are enough who feed the stereotypes to make this game possible.

Me? I need humor, honesty, love and variety in my life....in varying combinations. ☺

A pint of decent real ale, a fine Malt Whisky, a good curry, with tasty side dishes. Samosas, Chapattis, Tarka Dhal, fresh Onion Chutney, and sufficient Basmati rice.
A full cooked breakfast, including black pudding, home cured bacon and fried potato scones.
Good music.

I can't speak for other men, but I want a high IQ, great sense of humor, a pleasant speaking voice, well read, easy going and loves folk music.A good command of the language and the ability to debate without flying off the handle are bonuses.

Somone that is not controling or a nag or clingy. The other I am not going to elaborate because the last I did I ended up with a beautiful new daughter lol. I have my hands full so I am going to just say Fried Catfish and sweet tea lol.IN my case at least I am too independent and a loner to have somone controling or clingy. I'm getting kinda worried about the beer, as in...

I'm in a plane going down over the ocean. There's me, 99 other women, 50 men, and 100 crates of beer on board. For some reason, NONE of the girls make it, but every single beer bottle stays intact, then they're left in the sea for a few hours to cool and are partaken of later, on a sun-kissed beach, by 50 of the happiest men in the world, who are surrounded by naked, dancing bear-pigs...

Oh, and in an old shed, on that sun-kissed beach, they found a tom cat who they adopted as 'one of their own'.... :0)
