True enough Phil some exlnt songs and those tunes weren't too bad either.

So, Russ, Kate, Sandra, Phil, Ken, Olga, Kate, Claudine, Alan, Dave, Ged, Shelley, John R, John J, Helen, Phil, Barbara, who introduced the novel idea of proposing someone else (Sandra) to sing a song on her behalf, what a great idea, and that bloke who sat by Shelley but wouldn't sing.

It was 'The green valley'. We couldn't find the words or chords or anything on the interweb, but if you can then you might send us the words as we're not sure we have them all right.

Ms Armstrong does it unaccompanied and doesn't seem to stick rigidly to any particular time signature (or not one we can understand anyway), so when we came up with the chords we made up something that seemed to fit. It's 6 beat bars (a 4 and a 2) with an extra 2 beats stuck on the end of each verse. Ahem. Cheers, Phil.

Well, thanks to Ged, Phil, Sandra, Ken, Alan, John, Ann, Mike, Dave and Martin. Martin sang for the first time in about 3 years an played some excellent tunes on the English concertina.

Lots of good songs many about the Sea and plenty of dead people. I apologise for bringing double glazing into Roll the Old Chariot Along but you spend a lot of time on your own in retirement and it did seem funny at the time.

Book now for the 2nd birthday bash in December

Oh, and tunes next Wednesday because lots of us are going to the MacColl memorial at Salford next Tuesday
