Subject: Irish Films: From: GUEST,Martin foster, Manchester, UK Date: 01 May 09 - 10:45 AM Hi there, I am looking for the following Irish films/dramas that have been on TV in the past but do not seem to be available on DVD:- Rooney - 1958 I think starring John Gregson The risisng of the moon - 1950s by John Ford The ballroom of romance - 1982 I think made for TV starring Brenda Fricker Amongst Women - 1990s made for TV short series RTE Any information on where I could obtain or borrow these on video or DVD would be very welcome. The same Director/Adapter , Pat O'Connor , also filmed Trevors "One of Ourselves" for TV and "Fools of 'Fortune (latter with Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio and Julie Cristie. |
