I couldn't afford to buy myself an inlayed Laskin guitar, so I just bought myself a Laskin guitar strap on the weekend, for my beautiful OM 01 Larrivee. Someday maybe I'll buy a Laskin guitar and put a Larrivee strap on it. :-)

Be careful, there will be those critics, there always are, who will hold to be of some account for personally butchering-customizing your Larrivee.

This world can be cruel. I know.

I wanna see!

(I've been telling a luthier friend he needs to get custom straps for his customers, wannabe customers, dreamers, and droolers.)

Peace, Mooh.

12th Fret? Grit?

Where'd you get it?

Peace, Mooh.

Probably the best guitarist I've ever played with was Terry Tufts. He joined our open, amateur circle one night. My brilliant comment to him?

That's the most beautiful guitar strap I've ever seen!

And it was.

May your new strap similarly confound the perceptions of a tired folkie. Perhaps someone will even venture to ask, are you Grit Laskin?

steve...Saw Terry Tufts at the Canadian Guitar Festival a few years ago. Relaxed and at ease in a workshop with Dan Crary and Don Ross, he played as if the instrument was a part of his body. Don't remember his strap, lol!

Peace, Mooh.
