In any event, until I get the leg pain thing under control, cross-country flying is something I prefer to postpone. ('Course I guess the cane I use sporadically [when the sporadic pain really acts up] could be used as a stage prop à la Fred Astaire or Judy Garland. But then, Fred never did dress in feathers and a floozy frock, far as I know.) Next year, Bobert, we gots ta get that blues band scheduled at a less competitive time. I was a bit disappointed to think that I couldn't be in on the repeat of last year but Saturday night will do just fine. You'll have to get this timed right as I will be preoccupied with the Mummers Play during the first half of the concert, as may one or two other of the floozies, if I can talk them into performing. |

So here's the deal... At the Saturday night concert BobertBluesBand and the Floozies are going to have to pack it into just one song... Now seein' as Leadfingers ain't gonna be here that means Amos and me on geetars and EJ on harmonica and the Floozies on peacock feathers... Ya'll know the drill... Okay, KT may need a 30 second crash course but that's the way I see it happening and as it is so well written right there in yer grandma's Bible: "No Floozies and the Getaway Sucks" 'er somethin' like that...
