"Watch me zoom with my broom" - no, too witchy, and 'zoom' gives the wrong impression.

I woulda kept the hammer and not taken those two points. I mean, if yer gonna give Kevin the hammer that early, yer just takin a chance. I mean, that has been his forte in many games.... stick his ass up in the air and dare you to shave the frost every end or get your ass froze solid.

Don't matter if yer Howard or Ferbie or God... Kev will stick his ass in your face and say kick it or kiss it. Doesn't always work, but he's got balls as big as Frosty.

Of course, we ARE talking Howard. HE can finish. But, it seems touchy now.

Them Canuck lasses are good... good lookin too. I wouldn't mind throwin a few rocks with them. The skip is a babe beyond, and she ain't the only one. And, the calls she made were bang on. I woulda pulled a Martin at least twice and went fer the throat, but she played it cool and she was right. Great game.

I read yesterday where a member of a wheelchair curling team (at the Vancouver Paralympics) was banned for two years for having a banned substance when tested, seems it was his blood pressure medication.

While I feel very sorry for the bloke it's almost like something out of Monty Python, isn't it.

The Canucks and Germans provided a nailbiter!.. a thiller! I was sad to see Canada lose in sudden-death overtime, but now that they are tied for first place with the Scots, the game between them tonight will be interesting. I wish I could stay up that late... 22:30 here.

They beat Sweden 8-3. Sweden called it a game after eight ends.
They then beat Canada 10-4. Canada also called it a game after eight.
I taped that game, as I was at a local hockey game, but was home in time
to catch the last three ends.

Yes indeed! 19 years old that Scottish lass! Man she's good. It was tough to watch, but it was a great game for Scotland. Some excellent curling. And, easy on the eyes... some gooood lookers on that ice.

I'll be cheering for Canada in the bronze and for Scotland in the gold. I expect the Germans will be tough in the final.

o watched wheel chair curling this olympics and it was every bit as interesting as the regular. the mens world final is canada against norway. kevin kooe is the canadina skip. he's very good. i was hoping ferby's rink would make it to the worlds as they are so exciting to watch but it seems their star is faling. i love that colicated and risk taking game. however koe is great.

i get a heart attack watching kevin martin. hes great but he is so tightly wound he occasionally blows a big game. at the olympic final he blew up at his front end, but they won the game. he has been chasing redemption since getting sdiver two olympics ago..

iused to curl as well but in my old age i can't squat to do the flower beds let alons throw a rock. i do remember how far it seemed sitting in the hack, so i take my hat off to those who master it, its a very difficult and stratagic game.

No ruse at all. I found the game difficult to watch. Norway choked big time. That said, I didn't think they had much of a chance today because the Canucks were firing on all cylinders. The double raise takeout to hold Norway to one in the second end was a nice call. I still think Norway should have blanked that end and kept the hammer because they were playing catchup at 3-1.

Congrats to both and Scotland.

Now that's exciting stuff, eh? A fast paced see-saw battle between the cub and the bear.

Of course, the cub was lucky he didn't get mauled in the first end. that pic in the ice on the third's second stone was tragic for the bear.
