Hi,

I heard a song but I don't know what the name of that song is, but all I know is that it is an Int'l Good Bye Song. Do you know the name? Can you please let me know where I can get this song from? Thank you for your help!

Please EMAIL your response to kevin@everprint.com

Isn'it Auld Lang Syne? There is a French translation.

A few lyrics might help identify it.

Do you mean the round by Joanne Olshansky Haml with all the goodnights in many languages?

Wherever you rest your head tonight,
We are all one family, let's hold tight,
And fill the world with dreams of harmony tonight.
Goodnight, bonne nuit, oya sumina sai,
Buenas noches, lala salama, wan an
spokoinyu noche, gute nacht, lila tov.

Allison

I think Kevin is referring to this song, which name I neither know, but the first notes are:

C F E F A G F G A G F F A C D
D C A A F G F G A G F D D C F

May be that this could help somebody's memory banks. I heard it at international meetings of young people some .. eer.. many years ago.

As a bit of mischief I might ask whether anyone knows the Peter Cook(e) and Dudley Moor(e) song in a similar vein. Mt memory tells me that this was their attempt to create a universal farewell song. Regards, john
